The game uses cluster pays, in which four or more matching symbols connected horizontally or vertically form a winning cluster. Larger clusters pay more than smaller ones. When a cluster wins, those symbols shatter and remaining symbols tumble down in cascading reels to fill the gaps.
The Forge mechanic triggers runes before cluster scoring occurs. These runes raise a weapon multiplier and spawn wild symbols. Runes can trigger even without an immediate winning cluster forming.
Four or more Scatters across the reels trigger Forge Free Spins. During the free spins round, the game counts all Scatters, including any that land during cascades. The free spins drum awards additional spins or access to a Super segment. The weapon multiplier carries forward from the base game into the free spins round.
