About this Slot
Gladius: Death or Glory is a war-themed slot by Backseat Gaming with an RTP of 96.26%, high volatility and a maximum win of 15,000x.
The game uses a 5-reel grid where shield symbols rotate to reveal coins or special symbols. Coin shields award a win equal to your bet multiplied by the displayed number on that shield.
Collectors and multipliers appear as special symbols under the shields, adding another layer to the potential wins on any spin.
The Death or Glory bonus round is triggered by landing 3 helmet symbols on the grid. The round begins with 3 lives, and each non-winning spin costs one life. When new symbols appear during the bonus, the life counter resets to 3. Shields that have already been revealed become sticky and remain in place for the duration of the bonus round, with fresh coin values or new symbols revealed on each subsequent bonus spin.
Shield Featurespins fill all 25 grid positions with shields. These spins guarantee either an instant win or the reveal of special symbols.
The Feature Buy menu provides options to access instant or enhanced gameplay, giving you direct routes into the bonus mechanics without waiting for natural triggers.
