Wilds carry multipliers that apply only to line values crossing them. When a Zombie wild lands in a column containing Brain symbols, it fuses upward with them, and absorbed symbols alter how the multiplier is calculated.
Scatters trigger either Bonus or Super Bonus modes. If a Scatter lands above a Zombie, the Scatter is replaced during the landing sequence.
A Secret Scatter triggers Cheatcode Bonus mode instead.
Cross symbols act as spawners, firing Purple Brains, Green Brains or Zombies into the grid. The spawned symbol becomes the first symbol in the burst, and Crosses fire before extends form, which allows Zombie fusions to occur.
