ZapLab by ELK Studios is a science-themed slot with an RTP of 94%, high volatility and a maximum win of 10,000x. The game is built on a 7×7 grid with cluster pays and an avalanche mechanic where winning symbols cascade and create new winning combinations.

The Monster Meter fills as you collect winning pay symbols on the grid. Once full, the meter awards either a random Monster modifier or a feature symbol. Monster modifiers are stored and activate when no further wins remain on the grid.

Feature symbols land on the grid and act as wilds. When triggered by a win or awarded directly from the Monster Meter, they activate their special ability.

Filling the Monster Meter five times during a single round triggers Shockwaves, which activates all five Monster modifiers in sequence: Monster Reload, Wild Flip, Monster Chunks, Monstrous, then Zapocalypse. If the meter fills again while Shockwaves are active, the sequence repeats.

Zappy is a wild symbol that appears randomly and jumps to new positions after each win, leaving behind additional wilds. When Zappy lands on a Dr Mayhem symbol, his multiplier increases and the Monster Meter advances. On his final zap, Zappy may expand into a 2×2, 3×3 or 4×4 wild.

The game features Respin functionality and offers an X-iter buy menu providing direct access to special gameplay formats.
