Overwound

Overwound is a steampunk-themed slot by Escapement Studios with an RTP of 96.01%, high volatility and a maximum win of 20,000x. The game uses 5×4 reels with 1,024 ways to win.

Wild Symbol and Scatter Symbol land across the reels as core mechanic components. Multiplier wins are generated through the Gear Train and related features, while Random Features can occur during any spin.

Golden Gears form the Gear Train, which doubles the total win of the spin on which they land. In the base game, the gear train resets after each spin. During bonus features, the multiplier persists and builds across remaining spins.

Winding Keys trigger the Overwind bonus when 3, 4 or 5 land. This awards 8 spins, and each Golden Gear that lands during the feature permanently increases the multiplier up to x64. Keys do not appear during the bonus, and the feature cannot retrigger.

Full Wind is a toggle that multiplies every bet by 5x. It uses identical rules and symbols but increases Overwind trigger frequency because of the higher stake per spin. Players can disable it to return to 1x wagering.

Tourbillon grants 8 spins with the gear train starting at x2 instead of x1. Golden Gears still permanently boost all remaining spins within the same x64 cap, with no retrigger available.

Mystery Movement is a 500x bet buy option that uses a weighted draw to determine the bonus tier before it begins. It can award Tourbillon as the Perpetual tier with 10 pre-wound spins at x4, or Redline with 10 spins at x8. Redline appears only through this option.

The Buy Feature menu allows players to purchase stronger feature entries or increase activation chances.
