Wins trigger cascading reels, where winning symbols clear and new symbols drop to fill empty spaces. Cluster pays awards wins for connected matching symbols on the reels.
Two wild symbols appear in the game. The Sands Wild substitutes for other symbols and spawns four additional wilds plus one extra wild when it lands. The Tome Wild also substitutes for other symbols, transforms nearby symbols into wilds, and upgrades lower-value symbols to higher-value ones.
The X2 Wild multiplies wins by 2x, 4x, 8x or up to 16x. When multiple X2 Wilds land in the same winning cluster, their multipliers combine together.
A charge meter builds during play as each symbol in a winning cluster adds one charge point. When the meter reaches 35 points, the player unlocks five free spins. Free spins do not retrigger during the feature.
