The game board changes layout and item density based on the selected map: Base, Clover, Circle, Heart, Castle and Chess each affect scoring potential differently. Three Drop Type options alter how the round plays out - Random provides unpredictable movement, Safe restricts drops to platforms only, and Lucky favours yellow platforms specifically.
When the Mochi Cube lands, it moves randomly across adjacent spaces until it falls into the void, which ends the round. The 1UP feature grants an extra life and converts an otherwise fatal void fall into a safe drop instead.
Repair restores all platforms to their original state after damage. Restock refreshes every item currently on the board for recollection. Megastock differs by placing a random item on every empty platform at once.
Flight awards ten moves during which the cube takes no platform damage and cannot fall into the void.
