About this Slot
Molten Core is a fantasy mining-themed slot from Forge Gaming with an RTP of 96.5%, high volatility, and a maximum win of 5,000x. The game uses a 7x6 grid with Cluster Pays mechanics: winning combinations form when five or more matching symbols connect horizontally or vertically.
When a cluster wins, those symbols explode and the remaining symbols cascade downwards to fill the gaps. New symbols drop into place, and if they form new winning clusters, the cascades continue until no further winning groups can form.
Wild symbols substitute for all paying symbols except the Scatter, and they remain on the reels after cluster explosions to help create new winning connections. Wilds carry no multiplier value themselves.
The Scatter symbol triggers the feature round. Landing three or more Scatters activates Free Spins, during which symbol multipliers appear more frequently than in the base game. In Free Spins, multipliers can combine to reach up to x256.
