About this Slot
SHAFTED is a mining and steampunk-themed cluster pays slot from Gold Leaf Studios with an RTP of 96%, high volatility and a maximum win of 25,000x. The game features a 7x7 grid where winning clusters cascade, with new symbols dropping to replace cleared combinations.
Stars activate individual reels, converting them to wilds that substitute for paying symbols. Only activated reels contribute their multipliers to wins. When a cluster wins, one symbol from that cluster remains as a wild on the grid for the next cascade.
The bonus round triggers when three or more scatters land. Three scatters award 8 free spins, four scatters award 10 free spins, five scatters award 12 free spins, six scatters award 15 free spins, seven scatters award 18 free spins, and eight scatters award 20 free spins. Reel multipliers from the triggering spin carry into the bonus round. Multipliers and reel activation states persist throughout the free spins, and additional scatters during the bonus add more spins to the total.
The Super bonus version triggers at four or more scatters instead. It resets all reel multipliers to 1x and activates one reel to begin the bonus.
Two play modes are available: Olde Times mode and Over Time mode. Both use standard cluster pays mechanics but differ in presentation.
