About this Slot
Motherlode is a mining-themed slot from Kanava Interactive with an RTP of 96.7%, high volatility and a maximum win of 100,000x. The game uses a 5x5 grid with cluster pays, awarding wins when five matching gems land orthogonally adjacent.
Each gem has three upgrade stages with different values. Symbol Upgrade raises gems one stage, while cascading reels trigger after each win as symbols fall to fill empty spaces.
Sticky Wilds land on the board and carry multipliers that stack multiplicatively across clusters. Wild Multipliers can expand across adjacent cells, with unfurling wilds absorbing multipliers from the wilds they cover.
Three bonus rounds trigger on scatters. Forge requires three scatters and grants three free spins with a 10-point meter that fills one point per paying board. Every two meter points, a sticky wild drops into play. When the meter completes, all gems advance one stage, and the meter remains full throughout the bonus. Forge Ultra operates identically to Forge.
Crystal Cave requires four scatters and grants four free spins. One scatter becomes an Anvil Wild with 5 health and a 2x multiplier that doubles after each paying board, eventually growing into a sticky 2x2 wild.
Treasure Room requires five scatters and grants five free spins with no meter mechanic. Every free spin in any bonus includes a Gamble, which expands the board to a maximum 8x8 layout that persists for the entire bonus. Gamble awards additional multipliers, gem stage-ups, wilds or scatters. Bonuses can award 8, 10, 12, 14 or 16 additional free spins, with endless free spins possible in some modes.
Buy options include Ante at 3x per spin, Bonus Upgrade at 20x per spin, Forge at 200x bet, Forge Ultra at 200x bet, Mystery at 500x per spin, and Crystal Cave at 500x bet.
