The game uses cascading reels and cluster pays. Wild Bat symbols substitute for regular symbols and can link separate clusters, but do not substitute for Gold Bar scatters. Each new spin resets the tumble multiplier, which climbs through the sequence 1, 2, 4, 8, 12, 20, 50, 100, 200 and 500x with each successive cascade.
Gold Bar scatters trigger Free Spins, counted from the initial drop before any tumbles occur. Four Gold Bars award 10 Free Spins, five Gold Bars award 15 Free Spins, and six or more Gold Bars award 20 Free Spins. During Free Spins, three or more Gold Bars retrigger an additional 5 spins with no upper limit.
The SMASH Meter rises by 1 with each winning cluster and reaches a maximum of 100x. The meter persists across the Free Spins round and starts at a higher level when using bonus buy options.
