LUDUS PRIME is an action and adventure slot set in ancient Rome with an RTP of 96%, high volatility and a maximum win of 5,000x.
The game uses a ways-based payline system and builds wins through a purse multiplier mechanic shaped by three forces: guards reduce the multiplier, crowd gold increases it, and the Emperor's verdict applies a final multiplier to the whole purse.
Guard gold adds between +0.1x and +50x to the purse multiplier as you progress through a run. The Golden Aureus multiplies your purse by between x2 and x11. A struck blow removes gold from the purse without ending your run, but a direct strike or thumbs down ends the round with no payout.
The Emperor's verdict applies a multiplier of 1x to 100x to your entire purse. This verdict progresses through eight tiers: Nod, Approval, Applause, Ovation, Laurels, Golden Laurels, Triumph and Imperial Triumph.
Landing a laurel or potion symbol triggers a bonus round after your current run ends. The Ante option starts your purse at x1.3 and doubles the frequency of laurel and potion symbols; it remains active until you manually disable it.
Champion Games begins with six fights and grants +1 to your multiplier per fight. An additional laurel adds two more fights to the sequence.
Giant Potion makes your gladiator twice normal size for one extended run past 15 guards. Your purse starts at x4 in this mode. Strikes cannot stop your run, though guards can knock gold out. The Emperor's verdict has a minimum multiplier of x5, guaranteeing a minimum payout of 20x your bet.
