Winning symbols release one soul per symbol, which feeds the Curse Multiplier. This multiplier reaches x2 at 48 souls, x3 at 76 souls, x5 at 105 souls, x10 at 140 souls and x25 at 190 souls, applying after all cascades end on each spin.
At 16 or more souls, HEX triggers to convert one low rune type, with no wins awarded in that instance. Death Knell can rescue up to three non-winning spins in the base game, converting one rune per toll. The Seal tracks five different rune types across the board, and landing all five runes in a single spin breaks the seal to trigger Rain of Relics.
