A sleep meter fills during the round when letter symbols clear. The meter runs from 0 to 60, and each threshold it crosses raises a multiplier on the board. When the sleep meter reaches 60, a dream round triggers on the same board, continuing play with the active multiplier.
During the dream round, a wake meter fills from coffee, drink, ping and boss symbols. The wake meter has four steps, and when it fills completely, an alarm sounds. A snooze function re-triggers the dream and clears the wake meter while raising the dream multiplier by one level.
Vacation snooze mode adds wake steps steadily throughout the dream round. Nightmare snooze mode doubles the multiplier with each snooze instead.
Cascading reels drop winning clusters from the board. Wild symbols substitute for other symbols in clusters. Scatter symbols land on the reels independently of payline wins.
A separate Lucky Strike mode uses a cigarette pack symbol board that does not cascade. This round ends after one board is played.
