Winning symbols pop and split into two replacement symbols. When a symbol participates in multiple wins on the same spin, it pops only once. Each reel expands by one symbol in height when it triggers a win, continuing to grow until it reaches its limit. Once a reel reaches 6 symbols high, it unlocks and a lantern lights to mark this achievement. When all 5 reels are unlocked, free spins are triggered.
After the free spins trigger, the Spirit Wheel appears to select which bonus tier you will receive: Ghost, Super Ghost, Epic Ghost, or Golden Ghost. Free spins begin with all reels already at 6 symbols high. The Ghost Multiplier starts at 2x and increases by 1 after each winning pop during the feature. When a reel reaches its maximum height of 9 symbols, Full Unlock is achieved, after which the multiplier jumps by 3 on the next pop, then increases by 4 after each subsequent pop. At the start of each free spin, the reels reset to their shortest height. Ghost Cherries appear only during free spins.
