Filling 4 rows on any reel expands the game grid by one reel, up to a maximum of 7 reels. Reel expansion occurs once per spin only.
Wild Mole substitutes for all symbols except Scatter Mortar. Sergeant Mole adds value to every other eligible symbol it appears alongside, except Marksmen, Medic, Colonel, and General. Captain Whiskers absorbs value from every other eligible symbol on the grid. General Burrow absorbs value from symbols, then pays that value back to them. Cosmo randomly selects 3 to 8 eligible symbols and doubles their values, but cannot target Marksmen, Medic, Colonel, or General.

Colonel Compost increases the spin counter maximum by 1 and resets remaining spins to this new maximum. Iron Mole persists across spins, adding value each bonus spin thereafter. Stealth Mole persists and absorbs value every bonus spin. Phantom Whiskers persists and doubles 3 to 8 symbols each spin.
Three bonus buy options are available: Burrow Breach, Tunnel Troops, and General's Charge, each guaranteeing bonus entry. The Double option increases your natural bonus trigger chance.
