The game uses cascading wins. Winning clusters of five or more matching symbols touching horizontally or vertically clear from the grid, and symbols drop to fill the spaces below. New symbols fall from above, and cascades continue until no fresh cluster forms.
Freedom Strike symbols activate when they land, without needing to form part of a winning cluster. Each Freedom Strike removes other symbols in its column and then drops into a Strike Zone, where different strike types add varied multipliers to the win.
Nuclear Football scatter symbols trigger DEFCON Operations during the base game or during cascades. Three Nuclear Football scatters start the Recon Mission, four start Shock & Awe, and five start Full Invasion. Each DEFCON operation grants free spins. During free spins, strikes remain active between spins and are consumed by winning clusters.
The three bonus buy options let you trigger a DEFCON operation directly. DEFCON 3 costs 100x your bet and includes guaranteed strikes at the start.
